With an enchanting view of the Etna, the sea and Taormina. It is only 2 Km away from the beach of San Marco. Calatabiano a small agricoltural centre at 2 Km. from the residence is famous for its "medlar Festival" and the pittoresque feast of the town's patron saint, St. Philip which is held in may. The ruins of an arabian-norman castel overlook Calatabiano, wich enjoys a splendid panorama of the Jonic coast from Taormina to Riposto.
The Raineri Residence is only 2 Km from the ME-CT higway, this is the ideal location facilitates exursions to TAORMINA (13Km) CATANIA (46Km.) MESSINA (60Km) SIRACUSA (104Km.) CALTAGIRONE (123 Km.) citta della ceramica PIAZZA ARMERINA (160 Km.) e la sua villa romana
Every third saturday of the month of May at 6 pm there takes place the "Calata of St. Philip". This is a particular procession organized by young people who carry on their shoolders the litter of the Saint (wich weighs 1000 Kg.) on an impassable path wich links a small church on a hilltop to the main church in the town of Calatabiano. The time it takes to return is important: every year they try to return more quickly.

Hospitality is offered in two residences: a modern house: apartment "Limone" rooms "Mandarino" "Nespola" a country house: apartment "Pompelmo" room "Arancia" Both residences are surrounded by a garden full of flowers.
The residential part is surrounded by a grassy landscape and trees which create a shady, cool and relaxing atmosphere.
OUR GARDEN OF LEMONS The farm, with an extension of 6 hectares, produces mainly lemons and tangerines "ciaculli"; various kinds of fruit, such as apricots, medlars, special kinds of tangerines, grapes, figs, oranges both "sangunelle" and "valencia" for family use with the possibility and the pleasure of gathering the fruit personally. On the farm we cultivate in ecological way.

By CAR: Coming from Messina on the ME-CT highway get out at Giardini Naxos and go along the S.S. 114 towards Catania for another 3 Km after passing The Alcantara river.
